Professor Lee Jong-wook of the Department of Software won the "Young Scientist Award" of the Korean Information Science Association
The Korea Information Science Association selected Professor Lee Jong-wook of the Software Department at Sungkyunkwan University as the winner of the "6th Young Scientist Award" at this year's Korea Software Comprehensive Conference in Pyeongchang, Gangwon-do.
The "Young Scientist Award" is an award jointly awarded to researchers under the age of 40 who are credited with the development of information science, have excellent R&D performance, and have excellent development potential with IEEE-CS.
Professor Lee Jong-wook was selected as the winner of the award for his outstanding academic achievements in the fields of data mining, database, and artificial intelligence. The Korea Information Science Association was established in 1973, and currently has 39,000 general members, 156 special members, and 278 group members, and is the largest society in Korea in the field of computers.
