□ Sungkyunkwan University (President Shin Dong-ryeol) said it will actively support student startups to enter the global market in their move to foster SW-AI talent and leap forward as a global leader university.
□ Sungkyunkwan University's Enterprise Organization of National Program of Excellence in Software (Director Lee Eun-seok) has established a "Startup Global Accelerating Program" to pave the way for a leap forward in student start-ups. This program works with Orang&Orang, the Korean office of the French Grenoble Investment Agency, to provide opportunities for local network expansion and investment in Europe.
□ Sungkyunkwan University selected excellent student startups that wanted to enter the global market, and opened the possibility of entering the global market through investment IR pitching training, 1:1 mentoring, and pre-education.
□ The Grenoble local program is scheduled for the afternoon of the 24th local time in Inno Valley, the center of the Grenoble startup ecosystem, where the LETI Innovation Days event, a three-day flagship event involving C-Level major executives, business developers and technicians participating in by industry leaders, and IR pitching in which Sungkyunkwan University's CodiMe team directly participates.
□ Through the schedule of Grenoble local IR and business exchange meetings, we will actively provide opportunities for ▲differentiated research cooperation with local research institutes such as GEM-Labs ▲revitalizing opportunities for excellent student start-ups to enter Europe ▲discovering local partners.
□ Jung Ji-hye, a student of the CodiMe team who participated in the program, said, "This global acceleration program has been a good opportunity to introduce products in the European market, and networking with local investors has also widened the direction of the business."
□ Park Hee-sun, an co-op professor who coached the CodiMe team, said, "Sungkyunkwan University will focus on fostering full-time start-up talent and student start-ups using SW-AI through start-up programs owned by universities such as industry-academic projects and SPARK."
□ Director Lee Eun-seok said, "We have had a lot of difficulties in operating overseas training programs due to COVID-19 over the past two years," and added, "In the future, we will strengthen the international capacity of student start-ups through various and continuous overseas training programs and do our best to foster SW-AI core talents with a global sense."
